Fixed asset register development
A fixed asset register is not a list of things you own. It is an accounting record, and if it does not reconcile to your general ledger, does not support your annual depreciation charge and cannot survive a change of finance staff, it is not doing its job, however tidy the spreadsheet looks.
We build registers from the ground up, or rebuild ones that have drifted away from what the accounts show, structured to IPSAS or IFRS asset classes and to any donor-specific reporting format your funding agreements require. Every field is populated from physical verification, not copied forward from a previous, unverified list.
This is the accounting outcome that our on-site tagging service and verification service both feed into. If your tags and physical count are already sound, we can build or repair the register on its own; if not, we combine both into a single project.
