Most asset tags sold in Kenya are imported or printed on office label stock. Ours are manufactured in Nairobi, Kenya, which is why we can run up to 200 tags the same day, up to 1,000 in two working days and up to 5,000 in three to five, all from artwork approval.
Kenya is hard on a label. Nairobi sits at 1,795 metres, where UV is high all year and fades printed polyester within a year outdoors. Coastal salt at Mombasa and Kilifi attacks adhesives. Dust across the north abrades surfaces and spoils any bond made without preparation. Anodised aluminium, with the barcode printed into the surface, is the answer to all three, rated -40°C to +120°C.
