Apply the sample to the actual surface you plan to tag, not a clean flat desk, since curvature, oil, texture and temperature all affect real-world adhesion. Leave it in place for at least a few days if the surface is oily, outdoors or subject to vibration, since some adhesive failures only show up after the initial cure.
Scan the sample with the device or app your team will actually use day to day, not just a demonstration scanner, to confirm real-world read rates. If you're comparing materials, request more than one so you can test the same asset type side by side before ordering at volume.

Quote-only materials like riveted, RFID and stainless steel are available to discuss but are less commonly sent as loose samples, given their fitting method.

Yes, that's the entire point. Apply it to the real surface, in the real environment, and scan it with the real device your team will use. A sample that looks fine on a desk can behave differently on oily machinery or curved plastic.
Collection is available as soon as your request is confirmed, during our Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm office hours. Delivery timing depends on your location; we'll give you an estimate along with the delivery fee, if any, before dispatch, so there are no surprises once the samples are on their way.
Not usually, samples are typically supplied in a standard or placeholder format so we can turn them around quickly and at no cost. Your final production run carries your logo in full colour at no extra charge once you order.
Sometimes, depending on stock and the specific tag, ask when you request your pack rather than assuming either way. Because these are quote-only and often application-specific, such as RFID frequency or stainless steel gauge, we'll usually discuss your exact requirement first rather than sending a generic sample that may not fit.
No. There's no obligation attached to a sample request whatsoever. We'd genuinely rather you test properly on your own equipment and decide against us than order at volume on an untested guess, since a bad-fit tag at scale costs everyone more time and money than a free sample ever would.
